The club will be hosting a net on Wednesday nights at 1930 on the 146.64 repeater. This is a general net and is open to all hams. Its a great way for new hams to get some air time and for anyone who wants to get some experience in a directed net. Hope to see you there.

This will be the place to post questions, respond to others and keep in touch with the club. When you sign in to Yahoo look for the groups tab, click on it and search for fredarc. That will take you to the group and you can join up. Set your email preferences and when something new is posted you will get a notification. We will be looking to phase out the old reflector sometime this year so sign up so you don’t miss anything important.

Read MoreWe are planning two fox hunts again this year. They will be Saturday April 22 at 1300 at the Heritage Farm Park in Walkersville and the second will be Saturday October 14 at 1300. The site for the second hunt is yet to be determined. In the event of rain the hunt will be pushed back to the following Saturday.
With the new year comes club elections. Brian AB3RW is returning as president, Smitty N3DCA is returning as VP and Bryant N3NON will be Secretary/Treasurer.
We would also like to extend our thanks to outgoing ARES EC Jeff KB3FIO and welcome to his replacement Mike K3DO. We have a full slate of events on the schedule this year and could always use any help we can get.
